Reddit recently announced that they will be launching a revamped self-serve advertising platform. With the continuous rise of the websites popularity, this is yet another platform in which advertisers can reach their target across the web.
Here are the features:
- An interface that has been redesigned to be user-friendly and “easier on the eyes.”
- Reddit now offers post-pay billing, which saves advertisers from having to top up their accounts or request refunds if the ad doesn’t run up to the paid amount.
- Multiple ads can be created for each campaign, and you can also create a campaign and add creatives to it. While the old way required advertisers versus to first make the creative, then the campaign.
- Reporting analytics have been improved, allowing advertisers to select date ranges, chart eCPM, eCPC and CTR, view spend, impression, click analytics and much more.
For now, the old system will still be intact for a couple of months but will ultimately be discontinued. The only down size, is that current campaigns will not be transferable to the new system once it is officially launched. When the new system is a full go, advertisers will have to make new campaigns and ads along with them.
