Easton is a very small town in South Western Connecticut. The town was formed from parts of Weston which earlier was considered Fairfield. About half of the property in the town is owned by the Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut, the area’s major water supplier. The town was once home to deaf and blind activist, Helen Keller, who died in her home in Easton in 1968. The local middle school is named after her.
Today, the small town has about 7,000 residents. The town is also a popular weekend second home area for many from nearby cities and New York. It is home to multiple operational farms including a Christmas Tree Farm.
