comScore releases monthly reports on U.S. Search Engine Rankings and in April 2014, Yahoo was at exactly 10% of the search market. It was down .1% from the previous month. Google and Microsoft both experienced a .1% increase.
It has been a disaster for Yahoo ever since they announced their merger with Microsoft in July 2009. Back then, Yahoo had 19.3% of the search market while Microsoft only had 8.9%. Today, the numbers are opposite with Microsoft owning 18.7% of searches. Unsurprisingly, Google has still been dominating with 67.6% of searches.
During the 5 years since the Bing-Yahoo merger, their combined market share has never been above 29%
