When’s the Best Time of Day or Week to Send an Email Campaign?

Have you recently created and optimized a great email campaign for your audience and are now stuck on when the best time of day or week it is to send the email out? Unfortunately, there is no concrete answer to this question, however, you can always research your audience’s behavior to see the time of day your emails are being read.

Here are a few things you should consider before sending out your email:

  • Are they reading your email at work or home?
  • Have they signed up to receive your emails from their work email address or personal?
  • What type of message are you sending out? Is there a deadline? Expiration date?

Most studies show that people are more likely to check their emails during the work day, especially during their lunch break or on their commute into work for the day. You can consider sending out your email during the early morning hours to catch the early birds or you can send it during the normal lunch hours of 12 pm to 2 pm!

Our recommendation? Go straight to the source! Send out an email campaign to your audience asking them how often they would like to hear from you and what hours of the day are they most likely to read your emails. This will give you all the information you need to put together a solid plan on the correct times on sending out emails.
