What is Google Search Console?

After ten years of being known as Google Webmaster Tools, Google re-branded their name to Google Search Console. Google noticed that most users might not recognize themselves as “webmasters” now and believed by re-branding their name to Search Console in hopes of attracting new users. The name change was also to make sure not to exclude anyone who might care about search and to market their product to anyone. To be clear, the functionality and design on the web service was not changed, just their name was re-branded. Over the following weeks, Google will be rolling out this re-branding change to all users.
