Microsoft spokesperson says that it was the right time for them to freshen up things. The last time Bing updated their logo was in 2013 so they updated their logo this year changing the “B” to an upper case. They also switched up their logo color from yellow to teal. Microsoft decided to move forward with these changes on their logo so their look can complement their partners’ own brands and teal looks great within experiences like Windows. It is expected by many that Bing will continue to grow and Microsoft is thrilled with its path.
