We discovered this week that Google has finally launched AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) in their mobile searches. An accelerated mobile page is a framework that allows fast-loading mobile web pages. It has been talked about that these pages might be considered a ranking factor for search results. John Mueller of Google just announced that as of now, it is not a ranking signal, however, it could definitely be a ranking factor in the future.
Google is also notifying when there is an error with your AMP pages through Google Search Consoles. If your website has an AMP page error it will read “fix errors on your AMP pages.” If you added Accelerated Mobile Pages to your website, it may take your Search Console a couple days or a week to display data once it’s been crawled.
