One of the most important factors in SEO is the making sure you are on local listing sites and that the information on there is correct. How will customers reach you if you don’t provide the right information? Missing or incorrect information will affect the number of customers and overall traffic to your business. We can all agree the more traffic, the better. So try not to limit yourself.
A study was done in the December 2012 YQ Survey where they looked at 40,000 customers of the popular listing company Yext. The study showed that nearly 43% of their customers had at least one listing with the incorrect or missing address and 37% had an incorrect or missing name. See the stats below:
