Repeated Violations on Google Webmaster Guidelines

It was announced by Google’s Search Quality Team that Google will serve harsher penalties and take further action on those who get caught repeating violations on Google Webmasters Guidelines. They might take further actions against your site or make a successful reconsideration process challenging to attain. Google is specifically talking about manual actions from Google’s Search Quality representatives that’re sent to your Google Search Console. Google is not referring to the algorithmic actions that happen automatically through algorithms such as Panda, Penguin, or other search engine algorithms.

For instance, Google provided an example that if a Webmaster who received a manual action notification about an unnatural link to another site can nofollow the link, then submit a reconsideration request to Google. After successfully being reconsidered, delete the nofollow for the link. Repeating violations like this may make successful reconsideration difficult to achieve or see stiffer penalties on his/her site. It is still uncertain what Google means when they say ‘further action’ will be made. It might mean a longer period to get out of the penalty or it could be as extreme as de-indexing your site from Google. In any case, try to take extra precautions and re-read Google Webmasters Guidelines so no violations are made on your site! Find the Google Webmasters Guidelines here.
