Google has updated their Google Maps so users can check and edit details for venues listed on Google Maps in an alternative way. Now there are more ways of changing and adding data to Google Maps. Users can edit venue locations, add venue locations, and verify edits about the venues on Google Maps. In addition, users can contribute new data to a specific venue after clicking on the “know what features this place has.” Google decided to have this new update in place so they can improve their data.
