SEO Specialist / Customer Service Rep

Boston Web Marketing, located in the North End, offers small to large businesses full-service online marketing solutions. BWM is the largest full-service web marketing company in Boston and is experiencing huge growth. We offer Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which is a highly effective way for businesses to increase their revenue. BWM is a fast moving, profitable start-up with a large and growing client base.
Boston Web Marketing is looking for a talented & passionate SEO/SEM specialist who cares about the success of our clients. They will need to be a self-starter who is can work independently as well as part of a team. They must have the ability to learn on the go and work in a fast-paced industry that is always changing.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business of small to medium-sized businesses’ SEO and SEM campaigns
  • Be the direct point of contact for your clients. You will be working with clients on their monthly SEO service including but not limited to backend website work, listing sites, content generation, social media management, email marketing and more
  • Manage SEM campaigns for clients, primarily in Google AdWords
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of work being completed
  • Learn new trends and online techniques to help your clients with all web marketing needs
  • Develop strong business relationships with clients while ensuring they understand how SEO & SEM improves their online visibility
  • Maintain and make necessary changes to clients’ websites, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Clear and articulate communication skills and the ability to effectively drive a phone conversation with clients
  • A verifiable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals
  • Preferred — Prior experience in an account management/customer service role
  • Experience writing engaging content
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated, and organized
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Familiarity with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress is not required but is a plus
  • Experience with HTML, CSS or a willingness to learn the basics.
  • Experience managing a Google AdWords campaign and/or AdWords certified a plus
