Yesterday, Instagram incorporated a new Interactive polling feature to Stories that allow users to communicate with their audience by voting on an answer.
Adding polls is similar to any other sticker on Instagram: simply drag and drop it onto the image in the story, and you’ll automatically have the option to customize the question and choices to like, however.
Once the story with the poll is published, you and your followers will be able to interact and see the results in real-time. To look at the results for yourself, just open up the viewer’s list for that image or video on your story, and it will show you total vote numbers, who voted, and what they chose. This could also be a great way to interact and engage with your clients and build a better relationship through this powerful social media platform. Get them voting!
Just like any other Story, those with polls will still expire after 24 hours. So make sure to grab your results before they disappear!
More New Features
Along with the new polling stickers, Instagram is also becoming closer to a free Photoshop with its eyedropper tool that allows you take colors from your pictures and play around with the text and brushes. Although it is only available to iOS users (for now), the new update should keep keen users entertained for some time.
