Great, it is almost time to generate a monthly search engine optimization (SEO) report to your clients. After creating that monthly report, it would be wonderful if their traffic on their website has increased. However, what about those that decreased, especially the new clients that just expect SEO results to work instantly? The actions that can be taken usually vary from business to business, but, there are three ways that can show organic improvements to your clients.
- Search Query Data on Google Webmaster Tools – In addition to Google Keyword Planner, another place to check for important keywords is Search Query on Google Webmaster Tools. The data can display important information on whether the target keywords are working or not.
- SEMrush – this tool allows you to see organic keyword visibility both now and the past 3 months, 6 months, 9 months. It can show improvements of your keywords performance.
- Goal Conversion Rate – This section is located at the bottom of Google Analytics and many times, it is not even set up to track your conversions. Usually, two goals are tracked on a website, contact form, and phone number. By tracking these two goals, they can show your clients the organic traffic that leads to goals being completed.
It is extremely crucial to focus on the small data that you often overlooked and get your client to continue to put faith in you.
