How has Yahoo answered Googles latest push for users?

Over the past few months we have been monitoring the latest status between Google and Yahoo fighting for Firefox users. Reported in past blogs; Firefox had switched over its default browser to Yahoo from Google. Doing so, Yahoo had seen a 11% increase in search queries between December and January. Google has since answered this dip by asking Firefox users to change their default browser back to them. This seemed to be a major move as Yahoo in fact dropped .2% in searches from January to February.

Yahoo has now followed Googles lead and is asking Firefox users to make Yahoo their default browser.

Stay tuned with Boston Web Marketing and our blogs to see how this affects searches. We are looking forward to see how Yahoo’s latest push effects users.
