Are you noticing a lack of interaction between you and your clients no matter what you try offering on your website? Sometimes changing the direction in which you are going can help. Here are a few helpful hints on how you can help increase conversions on your website.
- Make it easy for your potential customers to find what you are offering them. Sometimes having too much text before the sale/promotion you are offering can cause users to give up before they get to the prize. Try using a ‘one column’ layout. This approach should be able to guide your readers in a more predictable way from top to bottom. Using a multi column approach runs some additional risk of users becoming distracted to the core purpose of a page.
- Promote a gift rather than closing a sale right away. As obvious as it sounds, being nice to someone by offering a small token of appreciation can come back in your favor down the road. Try something like ‘First Month of Services is On Us!’ rather than ‘Sign Up Now!’. This gives the incentive for the customer to keep coming back to your product, rather than signing up once, getting the discount or sale and then never returning.
If you notice that your promotion isn’t exactly pulling in the response you’d like, trying mixing it up a bit! Engage your customers with easy layouts and promotions that will keep them coming back for more!
