Google has created a great ‘local discovery’ tool and announced the redesign of their map application for iOS and Andro
id. Google has found a better way to incorporate travel, location and mobile features to give other companies (such as Yelp and Trip Advisor) a run for their money and follow in Google’s new design theme. A great benefit to this new Google feature is that it has also added a call-in restaurant reservations, Uber pickups and price estimates. The ride estimates for the Uber feature will appear whenever you request directions but you must have the Uber application installed on your phone in order for this to work!
People around the world will have to wait and see this new feature as it is currently only available in the United States.
