Just in time for the holiday season, you can now add unique holiday hours for your business. Since this is the busiest shopping time of the year and the holidays are approaching, Google has allowed its business users to more easily provide potential customers of their special work hours. Whether it be longer or shorter store hours based on the upcoming season or a special event, businesses will have the option to announce this information.
From Google, Marissa Nordahl wrote, “the holiday season is fast approaching and with its customers looking for last minute gifts, they are wondering when they can visit your business and counting on your business information being correct on Google.” Once you add these hours, they will show up in your local maps listings, and if you don’t add these hours, Google will actually add their own disclaimer that your hours could be incorrect. The disclaimer will simply let potential customer know that because of the holiday, the normal hours might differ.

With each small update Google makes, they are trying to make the user experience as easy as possible. With people trusting the hours presented on Google, they will be more apt to return in the future.
