In recent months, it seemed as if Apple was moving away from the use of Google in an attempt to break away. Apple was trying to limit its use of Google Searches and Google Maps. Google finally took a swing back at Apple last week when it announced its new version of Chrome for IOS.
The biggest and most important update for the new Chrome browser is that it will allow you to sync just about all of your internet devices together no matter where you are. That means, if you are on your desktop computer and have a couple different tabs open and you would like to take your internet browsing elsewhere, you can quickly jump on to your laptop, tablet or mobile device, go into a different room or location, and all of your same tabs on your browser will be open on your device. This is a big move for Google as it appears to be going head to head with Apple moving forward.
It has also been rumored that the new apple operating system, IOS6, will have a feature nearly exactly the same as this latest Chrome update. There is also the off chance that Apple may try to block or veto Chrome from working on IOS. It will be interesting to see how this will pan out and also how it affects the public’s use of web browsers.
