Recently Google has added a convenient feature to Google Analytics that separates brand and non-brand paid search terms into similar channels. Non-brand terms have been grouped under the Generic Paid Search Channel. Click –through rate and domain name will be placed under Brand Paid Search channel. It will have a more accurate understanding of how your brand and generic keywords will work together to drive conversions.
How to set up
A new Manage Brand Terms tab has been set up under Channel Settings
- Identify and enter your terms
- Create new channels in the Default Channel Grouping
- Create new channels in the MCF Channel Grouping
