The surprisingly popular social media site Pinterest has rolled out a new option for finding things of interest.
Rather than relying on people or brands that a user would normally follow, users can now choose from numerous topics of interest and they will receive a broader array of information in their feed based upon the more general topic. Similar to following more specific entities, users can now pick topics like “hiking” or “weddings” and receive even more of a good thing. As with Facebook, too much of a good thing can be easily remedied by going back to that interest and “unfollowing.”
