When it comes to social media advertising, most people immediately shift focus to Facebook. Not only is it the king of social platforms, Facebook holds dominance in overall social ad spending as well. In 2014, the global social ad market increased more than 40% and acquired over $15 billion dollars in total spending; Facebook is responsible for about 75% of this advertising.

We are only four months into 2015, but it will be interesting to see what this year presents from a global social spending standpoint and if Facebook’s reign will rise or fall.
