Many webmasters have been noticing that the effects of the Panda 4.2 update that began rolling out on July 18th, 2015 have been reversed or changed. It was reported that this update would take several months to roll out but we didn’t expect to see the effects of the initial changes in traffic to return to normal.
If you were affected by the update, you should have seen gradual improvements in your traffic as weeks passed. Many webmasters are noticing that their traffic did see some improvement but eventually returned to normal around August 14th.

Google has declined to comment about any specific changes made to the algorithm so we will have to wait and see if any further spikes in traffic will occur.
