You’re running an AdWords campaign for your business to get greater exposure to internet searchers, but what searches are actually working the best for you? AdWords now provides information on the search terms use by people when your business is displayed as a search result.
A new feature available through AdWords displays the actual keywords used by searchers when your business appeared as a featured AdWords link. This way, businesses can refine or tweak their own keyword lists, add groups, or even adjust their landing pages to try to match those queries most effectively.
To access this information in AdWords, doe the following:
1.) Open a search terms report
2.) Click the Columns drop-down button
3.) Click Customize columns. When you see the box below:
1) Click Attributes and then click Add
