As the search engine wars continue, Bing has added another cool weapon to its arsenal aimed toward people who are surfing the net looking for images. There is no surprise like the nasty lawyer’s letter when you find that a photo you’ve used for a blog post or story is unavailable for use without some cash changing hands! Bing wants to help.
You can “Search By License” now when looking for images that will immediately filter them base upon your selection of the images usage rights. The choices you have from the new drop-down menu are:
1. All
2. Public domain
3. Free to share and use
4. Free to share and use commercially
5. Free to modify, share and use
6. Free to modify, share and use commercially
