You probably already know how important it is to have a strong, standout call to action (CTA) in every email that you send out. But do you know the different types of call to actions that you can use beyond the standard “Click Here” or “Shop Now” button you see on every email?
It’s time to get creative! Here are 5 CTAs that you can include in your email marketing:
- CTAs do not necessarily only have to be a button or graphic that is used to help the reader take action. You can also take advantage of text CTAs. For example, “If you’d like to learn additional information about our services, you can email us anytime at sales@getfoundquick.com“. The email address stands as the text, and the action is clicking the email address to gain further information.
- Take advantage of your closing signature. Nine times out of ten you are adding your contact information to your closing statements. Make your number clickable for mobile users or even have an additional sign up button for future email subscribers if the reader chooses to share the email.
- Add an easy way for a reader to forward your message to another. If you are sending an internal email to your co-workers, and need them to “spread the word” to others, include a button which allows them to easily forward the email.
- Don’t forget to include social media! This is one of the biggest CTAs that is completely underused. Social sharing on emails makes it so easy for your readers to share whatever message you are sending directly to their social media profiles.
